I've just changed things as Im working towardsw a bench meet in september but the routine Ive had the best gains from is...
Day 1 - Heavy squats and speed deads
Day 2 - Heavy bench and assistance
Day 3 - Speed squats or box squats below parallel and heavy deads
I'd def recommend the coan/phillipi style training

would you mind detailing your training program? Ive tried smolov for squats in the past and that worked well got me up to 140kg. been stuck at about 115kg for bench and 180kg for deadlift for a while now would like to try something different to progress again

Yeah single lift events for the big 3. Qualified for the bench press with a 135kg press(think that was actually the qualifying amount). Some of the stronger fellas are pressing crazy weights 180+. I'll get there eventually

excellent mate especially in that time frame. so do they do single lift events for all the big 3? which one did you qualify for and what do you have to lift to qualify? cheers

Hi Adsy.
Yeah mate I PL. Its something I'd recommend to anyone.
Only been training like this for about 10 months and I entered a meet earlier this year. Qualified for the British Single lift end of July but Im unable to go (gutted!!!)
