Hi there. I do tend to try to work out really hard every day, but not in order to lose weight or get bigger. I have never needed to lose weight; just the opposite, in fact. In my younger years I wanted very much to bulk up but it never happened. Now that I am 51 I am pretty happy being referred to as the "thin guy" most places I go.

The reason for the hard workouts is the same as the reason for doing exercise every day - it's the one way that I seem to be able to stick with it. When I try to work out every other day, or four times a week, or whatever, I find that I eventually turn that in to 2 times a week, then once, then it's been years since I darkened the door of the gym. Similarly, if I keep the weights at the same level all the time, I find that I lose any interest in going. So I increase the weight, switch from machines to free weights gradually, and otherwise mix things up while staying basically true to my routine.

Anyway, that's what seems to work for me. How about you?

Blimey, you are working massively hard eh?
Are you trying to put on weight or lose it? From all the exercise you are doing I'd say you must be losing it unless you're eating like a horse :D
