I think maintaing at that weight is going to be hard. I want to stay upto and including 75kg so im considerd a light-weight lifter, any more and i think i'll struggle with the big-boys!

Makes you wonder why we pay so much for the nhs each month from our wages and seem to get no benifit at all!?

I had a operation few years back, and i wasn't very pleased with the results at all, wish i'd gone private!

75k is a good weight, although i suspect itll creep up as you carry on training and getting stronger. that's not a bad thing though. my weight goes between 85 and 95 (i'm 6"1): when i'm properly trained, legs n all, it's about 90. i used to be 110!! (not in a good way)

it really does suck not being able to train properly. ive had knee problems for 3 years, most of which has been because i had a routine op and got nerve damage (1 in a million chance). ive been complaining about the current situation to the NHS for months and they wouldnt do anything: i just paid for an MRI scan myself and it confirms ive torn something, and im paying for surgery a week on monday (9 days) to fix it!!

    bloody nhs :-(

My diet as been pretty decent to be honest, ten times better than before i started training. Im gonna start a proper bulk next week, i want to hit 75kg soon as i can, then try to maintain it to be honest, i think thats a ideal weight for my height.

I love the 3 compounds lifts, be lost without them now, must be hard being injured. Touch wood ive been injury free for a while. Hope not to jinx myself now :P

dont worry if you can lift more youll have a decent shaped body :) as long as your diet is sound of course

personally i cant wait to squat and deadlift again! knee surgery in just over a week. will be a long recovery but itll be ace just to be able to walk to work again without any pain!!

I really hope so bud, itll mean alot to reach such a target. Im really interested in becoming more of a powerlifter than a 'bodybuilder'. I like having a decent shaped body, but being able to lift heavy would be such a achivement for me considering im not the strongest or biggest perosn around, but ive got the dedication!

    You can do 400k mate!

You can definately make big gains on the deadlifts. Are you doing some good hamstring work? It can make a big, big difference.

Might be worth looking at doing a powerlifting style routine.. I once did a 10 x 3 programme from t-nation and my bench went up from 90k to about 105 or 107.5 over the course of a few weeks!

thanks for the positive feedback :-)

I still am battling with technical issues.. I dunno if you're an IT guy at all (you mentioned AJAX?) - but the journal page is mentally complicated and there are some major speed improvements that im 90% through making, but the last 10% is giving me huuuuge headaches...
