Press-up

Image_510
  • Place hands and feet on floor. Hands should be slightly wider than shoulder width, feet should be close together and on toes.

  • Back should remain flat throughout exercise.

  • Straighten arms to starting position.

  • Lower body, bending with elbows, until chest is touching the floor.

  • Straighten arms back to starting position.

Too easy? Lots of ways to make it harder..
  • Vary grip - narrow, wide, etc;
  • Add weight - use a weighted packpack. Have a training partner lie on top of you!
  • Position each hand and feet on three chairs in a triangle. This allows for a much greater ROM.
  • Do them one-armed!
