Strength training (a form of anaerobic exercise) uses a variety of techniques to build the strength, size and anaerobic endurance of muscles.

There are many different forms of strength training - including use of bodyweight, freeweights, resistance bands and gym machines.

Strength training has many benefits, including (but not limited to):
